ISLAMABAD: If you are witnessing a heart attack, don’t panic. Be calm and help the victim to get out of the trauma. It can be scary but calm your nerves you need to help the one who is really in trouble at the time. You would be clueless at the time as to what to do or what not to do because even your help can damage the situation more.
Call the emergency immediately but it will take time to come. So, here are a few things you should do if any such emergency appears in front of you.

If somebody is having heart attack
Symptom of heart attack is usually chest pain but if someone is diabetic he or she might not experience any symptom at all. Other symptoms of heart attack are shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, vomiting, light-headedness, anxiety and exhaustion. Often, the pain even spreads to other parts of the upper body like the arms, back, neck, stomach, teeth and jaw.

You should do these things if above mentioned situation occurs
Don’t let the person move.

If possible, take a tablet of dissolvable aspirin, put it in water and make the person drink it.

Call an ambulance and tell them exactly what happened, and what symptoms the patient is experiencing.

In case the person is passing out, ask them to cough vigorously, as it will help them stay conscious.

If they stop breathing, provide first aid immediately.
