ISLAMABAD: Reacting over the high profile killing of Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzada in a suicide attack, Information Minister Pervez Rashid has said “such cowardly activities of terrorists can’t keep us from achieving our goals to eliminate last terrorist in the country”.
Speaking to media, the minister dispelled the notion that the terrorist attack might be a backlash to country’s campaign against militants. He said the terrorist activities were taking place before the operation and are still ongoing.
“We have made gains in the operation against terrorists and the whole world acknowledges our efforts,” said he.
He said millions of Pakistanis were holding the country’s flag which they would not let go down. The minister said that the nation was united against terrorists and “we will make them bow their heads”.
