KARACHI: Chairman Zimbabwe Cricket Board Wilson Manase, on Thursday, confirmed the Zimbabwe's upcoming Pakistan tour starting from May 19 next month.
Addressing a press conference, Chairman said that Zimbabwe would play three ODIs and two T20s in May tour. He said they are satisfied with Pakistan's security measures.
“We have taken cognisance of all the factors for us to arrive at this decision, so let’s not be alarmist about the situation in Pakistan,” he added.
Zimbabwe Cricket team is due to arrive on Tuesday May 19 at Lahore airport. The first T20 between the two teams would be played on Friday, May 22 and the second on Sunday, May 24.
The three ODIs would be played on Tuesday May 26, Friday May 29 and Sunday May 31 respectively.
All matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Zimbabwe will become the first Test playing nation after the deadly attack in 2009 on the Sri Lankan cricket team to visit Pakistan and play a bilateral series.
