India after winning the toss put Pakistan into bat.Indian bowlers and fielders kept the things tight and didn’t allow Pakistani batsmen to score freely.
Mohsin Khan was the first man to go, he got out after scoring 31 runs, Amir Ishfaq’s also lived short on the crease, he got out after scoring 10 runs. BadarMunir’s 56 runs off 61 balls was the highest runs for Pakistan, Niar Ali and Riasat Khan scored 47 and 48 runs respectively and took the score to 307 for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 40 overs. Rambir was the pick amongst the bowler, he claimed 2 wickets.
India in reply, got a good start, but Pakistan pulled things back in the middle overs. Vekantesh and Parkash wickets gave hope to Pakistan to remain alive in the game, but Sunil’s brilliant 93 runs and Ajay Reddy’s 62 runs made the target easy for the Indians. Pakistan took quick wickets at the deck overs and created another twist in the game. India required 6 runs form the last 9 balls with 2 wickets in hand; a big wide from Israr Hasan with 5 extra runs gave the game to India.
