MUMBAI: Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who tied the knot in Italy on December 11 in a fairytale ceremony, will soon move into their dream house in Mumbai.

The newly weds have a luxury apartment waiting for them in Worli area of Mumbai, purchased for a whopping INR 34 crore, according to media reports.

The 7,171-square-foot apartment, which Kohli bought in 2016, faces the Arabian Sea and is said to be located in the most luxurious of the three towers of the Omkar 1973 Towers complex.

According to details shared by Media, the four-bedroom apartment has a few defining features: a ceiling height of 13 feet that creates a large space, and decks or verandas that extend from each bedroom.

Other features include a grand entrance lobby, dedicated spa for pets, fitness and sports facilities, a sky terrace for hosting parties and dedicated areas for kids – including a crèche, pool, and play area.

The couple will also have a familiar face as a neighbour – fellow cricketer Yuvraj Singh also purchased an apartment in the same tower in 2013.

Kohli and Anushka will host a reception in New Delhi for relatives on December 21, followed by a celebration in Mumbai on December 26 to be attended by Bollywood stars and cricketers.

They will then honeymoon in South Africa before moving into their new home in Mumbai, the cradle of India´s multi-billion-dollar Hindi film industry.
