The last meeting of Interior Ministry was held on 23 August 2017 which was attended by Governors, Chief Ministers of four provinces and Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan. And at provincial level more than 60 meetings of apex committees were held.
During the current year, 72 persons were hanged in cases of terrorism, whereas more than 350 culprits were hanged in criminal cases following the imposition of NAP.
Around 219 cases have been sent to military courts out of which 49 cases were disposed of and 176 are subjudice.

NAP also failed to control a move by outlawed outfits to work by changing their names.
