Sindh govt bans pillion riding in Karachi from Tuesday

KARACHI: The Sindh government Monday decided to ban pillion riding in Karachi from Tuesday.
According to media reports, the decision was taken by Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, who also keeps the portfolio of Home Department, in consultation with Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad.

He also decided to crack down on militant and extremist groups from tonight.
The ban comes after twin blasts killed 48 people and left over 15 wounded at Abbas Town in Karachi on Sunday.
