ISLAMABAD: Countrywide protests, demonstrations and rallies were held against the derogatory, inflammatory and anti-Islam film produced by a US citizen.

As per details, after the Friday prayer the Ulema while addressing the rallies strongly condemned the blasphemous US movie and demanded that stern action should be taken against the controversial film producer.

The protestors said that by holding rallies and staging protest against the heinous act of US citizen, “We want to express our deep respect and honour to our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH)”.

Numerous rallies were organized in the federal capital and the largest rally was held from Sector G-6, Markazi Imam Bargah in which hundreds believers participated and staged protest.

The demonstrators raised slogans against the US and Israel and burnt the flags of the US and Israel.

Meanwhile police clashed with angry demonstrators protesting outside the US Embassy in Islamabad over the anti-Islam movie made in the US.
