SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Mohammad Yasin Malik has said that the unresolved Kashmir dispute is a threat to peace, stability and prosperity of South Asia and the world at large.

Mohammad Yasin Malik while addressing a big public gathering at Tulmula in Ganderbal stressed the need for deliberations on the long-pending issue on priority basis. He urged Pakistan and India to recognize the urgent need of the inclusion of the Kashmiris in the dialogue process.

The Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir during a one-day congregation held at Narabal called for early settlement of the dispute over Kashmir through exercise of the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination as per relevant resolutions of the United Nations. Senior APHC leader, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt in a media interview, today, called for involving the Kashmiris in Pak-India talks on the issue to make the process meaningful and result-oriented.

APHC leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan addressing a meeting in Baramulla cautioned the Kashmiri youth to beware of conspiracies being hatched by India and its puppet regime against the freedom movement.

Liberation leader, Javed Ahmad Mir in a statement demanded the release of all illegally detained Kashmiri leaders and activists and an end to human rights violations in the occupied territory.
