AKU Staff Cricket team beat DIB

KARACHI: Aga Khan University Staff (AKU Staff) Cricket Team defeated Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) Team by 25 runs in 8th AKU Twenty-20 Ramadan Cricket Tournament at the AKU Sports Centre Cricket Ground.
DIB had won the toss but they invited AKU team first to bat. During their batting AKU Staff team made 181 for 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, with Shiraz Ishaq’s knock of 65 off 38 balls , with the help of three sixes . Muhammad Ali and Afzal Sheikh also made 25 each.

In reply Dubai Islamic Bank ‘s team could make only 156 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Usman Farhat made 87 and Asif Siddiqui 22. Shiraz Ishaq who was man of match also claimed 3 wickets for 15 runs.
