Addressing a press conference here, PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar said Zardari League has no interest in establishing new provinces and that it only wants to push the opposition party to the wall.
He said that the commission would not prove to be useful without the opposition’s support.
President Asif Ali Zardari, he said, should take such decisions after assessing ground realities instead of doing political maneuverings.
“PML-N should get 50 percent representation in the commission if it is only about Punjab,” he demanded, adding all its members should also be from the province.
The PML-N leader added the commission should outline a clear policy to create new provinces across Pakistan. To a question, Nisar said his party is not in favour of Sindh’s division at all.
