ORAKZAI: At least eight militants were killed, four injured and two security officials sustained injuries in clashes in Manmuzai area of Orakzai on Friday.

As per details¸ the clashes occurred when insurgents ambushed security forces during a routine search in Mulbar, Tehsil Mor City Zara of Manmuzai area.

Security forces killed up to 8 militants, 4 injured while two soldiers also sustained injuries during the operation. Later, the injured soldiers Ikram and Rasheed were shifted to CMH hospital.

Meanwhile, the security forces also conducted door to door search operation in Goundi Kalay, Mala Patti and in Koronchi areas. The forces recovered huge ammunition and explosive material from caves.
