QUETTA: A man was killed in a firing incident in the Sooraj Ganj area of provincial capital of troubled Balochistan on Tuesday morning.

According to police, a trader Asadullah came to open his shop, when unidentified miscreants opened reckless gunfire at him, killing him on the spot.

Police took the dead body in custody for legal formality.

Atleast five people were killed in a powerful blast in Saryab area of the city a day before this incident.

Balochistan is suffering nonstop violence for a long time where settlers from others parts are being targeted by the separatists.
