Citizen complained that they couldn’t reach schools, colleges and offices in time because of shortage of transportation.
Citizens said that personals of vehicles allotted route N0/ 1 and 3 do as they please.
They do not board passenger of short distance where as rest are made to wait hours at bus stops, they added.
People of twins cities have to go through an ordeal to reach offices and business thanks to shortage of transport and hike in fares due to raise in petroleum price have compounded the problems.
Women have to wait for hours on bus stop owing to less seats. Only two seats per van are reserved for woman, this along with unethical behaviour of van staff has made travel by public transport for them a huge task.
Citizen have requested the relevant authorities to increase the number of public transport mitigate their situation.
