Only 33 people are known to have the condition hyperthymesia where they can perfectly recall everything since about the age of 10.
Researcher Aurora LePort and colleagues identified differences in their brain structure and found they have more robust white matter linking the middle and front parts of the brain than those with a normal memory, the Daily Express reported.
Most of the differences in the brain were in areas associated with autobiographical memory.
The research also found that such people are not better at remembering facts and figures in tests
The study has been published in the journal of Neurobiology of Learning and Memory.
