Loadshedding protests in Dir, Gujranwala

DIR/GUJRANWALA: The masses staged protest rallies in Lower Dir and Gujranwala Friday against the unannounced power outages.
According to Media Reports, hundreds of protesters gathered around the office of Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GAPCO) and also blocked GT Road due to which traffic moving to Islamabad and Lahore remained suspended for hours.

According to Media Reports, hundreds of protesters gathered around the office of Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GAPCO) and also blocked GT Road due to which traffic moving to Islamabad and Lahore remained suspended for hours.
The agitated protesters also demonstrated against 22-hour long power outage in Tehsil Khal of Lower Dir. The residents told that they were without electricity during sehr and aftaar time. The demonstrators burnt tyres and blocked Dir-Chitral highway for traffic.
