8 more killed in Karachi, bodies dumped in Lyari River

KARACHI; The sanctity of the holy month of Ramazan and human life is being incessantly trampled upon every day in the largest city of the country, as another eight citizens were ruthlessly killed and dumped in Liyari River, Media reports said on Friday.

The relief workers scrambled through the night to take out the bodies from different parts of Lyari River. At least four of the eight bodies have been hitherto recovered from the river. Two deceased have been identified as Ali Haider and Farhan.
Both the youths were residents of the city’s Ranchhore Line. The bodies have been shifted to Civil Hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, there are still four bodies in the river. The efforts are underway to retrieve the bodies.
Meantime, another tortured body was found from the city’s Sohrab Goth.
