Water shortage in Adiala jail

RAWALPINDI: Severe water shortage and prolonged load shedding has made miserable the life of prisoners at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
According to the details, prisoners are held in barracks in groups of dozens and recent unscheduled and long hours power outages have disrupted the water availability in the jail and severe heat has created difficulties for the inmates.

Load shedding has also increased security risk.
PSF Divisional president Ayaz khan Pappu has requested Governor Punjab Latif Khosa to address the problems of inmates.
