Residents demand electricity poles

RAWALPINDI: Residents of D- block of Satellite Town have protested against lack of electricity poles in the streets.
Residents said that electric cables were hanging at low level around every house causing potential threat of electric shock and concerned authorities failed to erect new electric poles in the area.

Residents said that electric cables were hanging at low level around every house causing potential threat of electric shock and concerned authorities failed to erect new electric poles in the area.
They said that incident of short-circuiting occurred daily due to the hanging wires.
Residents have appealed the government to install electric poles in the area to avoid any untoward incident.
