Violence claims 3 more lives in Karachi

KARACHI: Unstoppable violence continued in financial hub of the country as three more people were killed and two others were injured overnight in violence in different parts of Karachi, officials said on Saturday.

According to police, some unidentified persons opened fire in Godhra area of New Karachi, killing one person and injuring another.
Residents of the area staged a protest after the incident at Godhra Road. The deceased was identified as Shoaib and injured was identified as Ishaw. Their age ranged between 25-26.
Meanwhile, a police official who was injured in firing incident in Pak Colony two days ago succumbed to his injuries while a man was shot dead in firing incident in Landhi No 6. The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Saleem.
