RAWALPINDI: Chairman Difa-e-Pakistan Council, Maulana Sami-ul-Haq has said that DPC after successful and peaceful long march on Pak-Afghan border has given the message that it can prevent NATO supplies through public power.

This he said during a press conference at Benazir International Airport after arrival from Quetta on Monday. He was flanked by the leaders of DPC Maulana Ameer Hamza and Qari Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob.

He said that it is the desire of DPC leadership that people may take the decision themselves. The people of Balushistan, by giving warm welcome to participants of long march proved that they are as patriot as the people of other provinces.

Sami-ul-Haq invited Mian Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Imran Khan to join the hands of Dife-e-Pakistan Council against the reopening of NATO supplies , but some elements do not want to annoy USA by staging protest.

“We conveyed a message through long march at Chaman border to Afghan nation that people of Pakistan are not involved in their killing , It is rulers of the country that are conspiring with them for the bounty of few dollars”, he added.

He said that America and India are playing havoc in Baluchistan , but the Baluch people are more loyal to the country than anybody else. The DPC not only hoisted the national flag there but also hold long march with the name of Difa-e-Pakistan and the Baluch people by fully taking part in it proved that they do not want separation from Pakistan. Only a handful of youth are in the trance of foreign plotters in Baluchistan.

He said that USA could not be the friend of Pakistan, she increased drone attacks after the opening of NATO supplies. Responding a question Maulana Sami-ul-Haq said that Haqqani group does not exist in Pakistan. As a matter of fact , America wants to encircle Pakistan and Iran by making hue and cry in the name of Haqqani network.

He was of the view if the circumstances of Pakistan would deteriorate like Afghanistan, then an organized movement can rise here .He said that only Islamic system can put the country on right path.
