According to a British media source, the PPP leader announced his decision to expose all elements, besides assisting the apex court.
Rehman Malik would be participating in the case, while currently being reviewed by the Supreme Court, as an ordinary citizen and not in his capacity as an interior advisor to PM. He has, however, not announced the exact time when he would be joining in.
He also said that former NAB (National Accountability Bureau) boss during Nawaz Sharif regime Saif-ur-Rehman was also being netted via Interpol and would be brought back for interrogations.
The interior advisor to PM has appealed to CJP, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to form a judicial commission to sort out all those responsible for committing discriminations against others.
He also offered all assistance in providing proof to any judicial commission formed.
Criticising PML-N as ‘Petition League’, he accused the party of assisting all past dictators to remain in power, while that trend has given way to PML-N becoming busy in filing (‘disturbing’) petitions, and in its role of petition mafia had ‘distracted PPP from its agenda of development/ serving masses’.
Rehman Malik also expressed strong criticism of the way private TV channels were busy ‘ridiculing ’ political elements in comedy skits, asking the TV channels’ owners as to how would they feel if they were being ridiculed while viewing channels.
He also warned higher police officials to refrain from discriminating / filing fake cases against PPP activists, otherwise that very police official would be made an OSD.
He also praised former Prime Minister Gilani for the sacrifice Gilani had rendered, urging masses to remember that sacrifice during July by-elections.
