Peaceful demonstrations have been scheduled outside mosques, while the biggest demonstration in Islamabad would be held outside the main office of Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Markaz-e-Qaba in Markaz (sector) 1-8, led by the central leader of DPC, Maulana
The Friday demonstrations would entail strong condemnation resolutions against the resumption of NATO supplies, while Ulema would deliver fiery speeches against the government’s decision to resume NATO supplies.
Meanwhile, preparations for holding a mammoth public gathering/rally at Lahore’s Nasir Bagh Rally on 08th by DPC are also in full swing, while a Long March commencing from G.T Road and ending in Islamabad.
The Ameer Jamaat-ud- Dawa Hafiz Muhammad Saeed has issued instructions to all his associates in enroute cities to ensure full participation in the Long March, deemed to be of quite a historic nature.
Another meeting in Islamabad was also held in this connection by Ameer Jamaat-ud-Dawa of Islamabad District, Muhammad Shafiq-ur-Rehman, in which a strategy for full preparation of masses from Islamabad and environs has been ensured.
Addressing a meeting, he declared the resumption of NATO supplies as a sheer sordid joke with Nation and Ummah, and a worst kind of insulting trade-in for martyred soldiers and citizens.
He was also chagrined at the loophole of avoiding the mention of drone attacks by government, giving a tacit free hand to NATO/Allied troops to indulge for a free-for-all against Pakistani territory.
DPC has also appealed to all transporters /container owners / labors to refuse any supplies for NATO in Afghanistan, as any such endeavor would be akin to anti-Islamic practice of abetting the genocide of Afghan Muslim brothers.
