Altaf appreciates PM on his dual nationality stance

KARACHI: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf had a telephonic conversation with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday.

The prime minister termed meeting of President Asif Ali Zardari and the MQM chief as a ‘positive’ step.
PM Ashraf appreciated the MQM for its support with President Asif Ali Zardari and the party’s efforts to safeguard democracy in the country.
Hussain appreciated the prime minister’s efforts in formulating laws pertaining to permission to the dual-citizen Pakistanis to take part in the general elections.
The MQM chief assured the prime minister his support to address the challenges that the country was facing.
PM Ashraf expressed his gratitude to Hussain for the warm welcome on his visit at the MQM headqurter –Nine Zero a week earlier.
