General elections will be held in March 2013: Rehman Malik

London: Advisor to prime minister on Interior Rehman Malik has said that the government will complete its constitutional term and the general elections will be held in March 2013.

Talking to media persons here on Sunday, he said that opposition was demanding mid-term polls but the government had no intention to announce fresh polls in the country.
To a query he said that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah is a very influential and powerful person and even Mian Brothers could not speak before him.
He said that PML-N has filed more petitions in the Lahore High Court and Supreme Court of Pakistan against the PPP. He said that the PPP respects the judiciary. However, he said that the courts decide cases against PPP in hours but the cases of PML-N are pending with the courts.
