Tax authority extends date for payments of taxes, duties

ISLMABAD: The tax authority has further extended the date for payments of taxes and duties for tax period May 2012 up to June 30, 2012.
According to a handout issued here on Tuesday by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) stated that the FBR decided to further extend the date for payment of Taxes / Duty and Filing of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Returns for the Tax Period May-2012, up to 30th June 2012, for all registered persons.

According to a handout issued here on Tuesday by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) stated that the FBR decided to further extend the date for payment of Taxes / Duty and Filing of Sales Tax and Federal Excise Returns for the Tax Period May-2012, up to 30th June 2012, for all registered persons.
The decision was taken in exercise of the powers conferred under section 74 of the Sales Tax act, 1990 and section 43 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005.
