The citizens have asked the session commander to take stern action regarding the dearth of water in New Afshan Colony, Misriyal Road, Street 3.
According to the citizens, the location of Street 3 in Afshan Colony is comparatively higher than all other streets and water supply could not reach the houses located in this street.
They said complaints were registered quite a number of times to address technical issues related to the water supply in the street but this problem had not been addressed even after three years passed.
Meanwhile, the citizens are facing problems due to dearth of water in West Ridge area of Rawalpindi.
According to residents of the area, water is supplied for a very short interval after every 2 or 3 days, which cannot provide for meeting their day-to-day needs in scorching summers.
