Five killed, 1 injured in Karachi

KARACHI: The violence row continues on Wednesday as at least five more persons were killed and a civil judge severely injured in various firing incidents took placed in different areas of Karachi.

The two deceased have been identified as Ahmer and Johar. They were shot to death in Orangi Town area of the city.
In another incident of violence, gunmen killed a laborer near Kala Pul area of the city. Meantime, some unidentified motorcyclists opened fire at a civil judge and injured him in Federal B-Area Block 17.
The civil judge Syed Zaheer Ahmad has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors said he is in critical state as he received gunshot wounds in his chest.
Meanwhile, the dead bodies of two more unidentified persons were recovered from a Lyari area of Timber Market in the premises of Napier Police Station. These two people were abducted and tortured to death.
