US urges Pakistan to send more 400 NATO tankers to Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD: The US negotiating team present in Pakistan to discuss resumption of NATO supplies is demanding dispatch of 400 more containers to Afghanistan.
Sources told Online that Pakistani leadership has made it clear to the US team that no containers comprised war equipments for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan would be allowed.

Sources told Online that Pakistani leadership has made it clear to the US team that no containers comprised war equipments for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan would be allowed.
However, Pakistan may review to allow NATO containers consist of commodities other than weapons or warfare equipments to Afghanistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that the US is continuing to put pressure on Pakistan to re-open supply routes.
However, Pakistan offered to the US that it could provide routes facility when the US would take back war equipments from Afghanistan. While the sources confirmed that till now during the talks both sides could not reach any point to adjust transportation tax on each container for NATO supply.
