Dated: 2012-05-28

Qalat: Chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Establishment is the main impediment in the way of JUI-F.

Addressing ‘Islam Zindabad’ conference here on Sunday, he said that his party with the support of masses has weakened the powers of Sardars and feudals.

He said that JUI-F is a popular party of the country, adding if transparent elections were held his party would emerge the single largest party and would form government at Centre as well as in the provinces.

Maulana said that JUI-F is not ready to accept the US supremacy. He said if the parliament is supreme and is a representative institution of the masses, then the decision of the people is clear. He added there is no justification for the government to re-open NATO supply route.

He said people of the country want change and no force on earth could stop their way for bringing change. He said that the government gave nothing to the people but corruption, poverty, inflation and load shedding. He said if the rulers did not change its behaviour, the masses would start agitation against them till their removal.
