Quetta: Three persons were killed and seven others were injured Sunday when a blast took place near a police van in the area of Suryab Road.

According to initial reports a bomb planted near a police mobile van blew off Sunday evening. Three passersby were killed and seven others including policemen were injured in the incident. The injured persons have been shifted to hospital where they were being provided medical treatment.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the site of occurrence.
