Justice Shakirullah Jan to take oath as acting CJP on Monday

ISLAMABAD: Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk will administer the oath to Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan on Monday.
The oath taking ceremony will be held in the ceremonial hall of the Supreme Court building, an SC spokesman told reporters.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is on a visit to the United Kingdom for receiving "International Jurists Award- 2012" for his contribution in the administration of justice".
The CJP will also participate in the International Conference of Jurists, scheduled to be held on May 28-29 in London.
