Balochistan issue should be resolved through talks: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that there had been no improvement in Balochistan’s deteriorating situation as ministers didn’t let people of the province to benefit from Rs 10 billion given to the province under NFC award.

Speaking at Balochistan Conference held by the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on Saturday, Khan said that the country could be prosperous with strong centre and fragile provinces.
Imran Khan said that Balochistan issue should be resolved through negotiations. He said it was provincial autonomy that brought development and prosperity to India.
Khan said that politicians working for vested interest could tame military establishment. He gave instance of Receo Tayyip Erdgogan who brought several generals to book by the people’s support.
He said who did politics for personal gains often compromised while those who were committed to ideology never did so.
