“They opened fire on Jamali’s vehicle. His ten-year-old son, Abdullah, died on the spot while the principal, his two daughters, Amira and Arifa, and a passerby sustained bullet injuries,” DCO Kharan, Asadullah Karar, told the media.
He said the principal was a patriot person and had been threatened by Baloch separatists for allowing the singing of national anthem in his school.
Jamali and his children are said to be out of danger after they were shifted to Quetta for medical treatment.
