Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, he said that the Speaker’s ruling was not a surprise for him.” Now she has also become part of lobby that has been ridiculing Supreme Court.”
He said that the Speakers move was to save only a single person. The opposition leader said that a seven-judge bench of the apex court had unanimously convicted Mr Gilani.
Earlier, National Assembly Speaker has decided not to send a reference to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against the Prime Minister.
