Resumptions of NATO supplies according to Parliamentary recommendations: PM Gilani

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that talks regarding resumptions of NATO supplies were being carried out according to Parliamentary recommendations.

Addressing a Chinese youth delegation, and talking to the Chinese media afterwards, he deliberated that NATO issue related to 48 countries and not just an organization.

“Pakistan wants good relations with global community, and any decision about resumption of NATO supplies would be carried out according to Parliamentary recommendations”, he assured.

Referring to Pak-China friendship, the PM said that this friendship, based on mutual trust and interests, was guarantee of regional peace and harmony.

Citing China’s outstanding support of Pakistan in times of need, he cited Chinese assistance during historically devastating floods, and a deep rooted cooperation in almost all spheres of life.

The 100-member strong Chinese delegation, led by deputy secretary of All-China- Youth Federation, represents Chinese from all walks of life.

It is pertinent to note that both countries often sign mutual accords/ exchange delegations in various fields, producing conducive results.
