According to the presidential spokesperson, the President and PM met at Awan-e-Saddar.
President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Gilani in detailed reviewed the current political scenario of country including to file appeal in the Supreme Court against the judgment of SC on contempt case against the PM Gilani and future strategy to deal with the opposition.
The PM informed President Asif Ali Zardari regarding his recent visit to UK while the President greeted the PM upon his successful tour of UK. Zardari said that the visit of PM Gilani would certainly enhance bilateral ties between UK and Pakistan.
Moreover, the spokesperson informed Online that both the leaders were agreed not to surrender before the opposition rather PPP would fight for its rights within the domain of the constitution and law.
They said that PPP would foil all the undemocratic efforts to derail and destabilize the government. During the meeting both the leaders exchanged views on the upcoming budget of 2012-13.
Zardari claimed that PPP rendered great sacrifices in order to restore the democracy in the country, now the PPP knows very well how deal with the challenges, adding the PPP government would relief to the masses, which is top most priority of the government.
