Likeminded divides on alliance with PML (N), Manika resigns

ISLAMABAD: The PML (Likeminded) has been divided into factions as President Punjab, Ata Muhammad Manika Saturday resigned from his post on making electoral alliance with PML-N.
While taking to the media, he said that the party did not consult him regarding electoral alliance.

He showed his apprehensions by saying that although he was provincial chief of the party but when the leadership visited Raiwind, he was not taken into confidence so he is convinced that he should quit the office of PML (Likeminded).
“We had some round of talks with Nawaz Sharif regarding Unification Block, but the alliance with it was never come under discussion. When the central leadership of Likeminded signed the agreement with PML-N, they must ask the provincial leaders also”, he added.
