Shahbaz joins protest against load shedding; loses shoe

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday joined a protest demo against the prolonged power outages with black arm band on his arm and chanting slogans against President Asif Ali Zardari.
The crowd welcomed the chief minister and started chanting slogans in his favour and against the President at Cungi Amar Sidu in Lahore.

Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that power crisis was a conspiracy against Punjab. He threatened that he would lead a march towards Islamabad if electricity was not restored in Punjab.
“I will stand by you until the problem is resolved, “he said and shouted: “push the falling walls.” The energetic chief minister left the venue with one of barefoot as he lost one during the demonstration
