NAB continues efforts to recover money in RPPs case

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) continued its efforts to recover the money in Rental Power Plants (RPPs) case under the direction of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
On Tuesday, the Bureau has recovered Rs 300 million in shape of pay orders from two companies in this case. Senior officials of RPPs and those from GENCO, PEPCO and NEPRA remained busy during the whole day under the supervision of NAB’s investigation team in the reconciliation process.

Resultantly, two of the companies have deposited Rs 300 million while two others have promised to deposit Rs 500 million each by tomorrow.
