Nankana-Amritsar bus service to start by 14 days later than schedule: FO spokesperson

ISLAMABAD: Launching of Nankana Sahib-Amritsar bus service has been delayed by 14 days and this delay has been caused owing to non completion of repair work of the road.

This was said by Ms Tasneem Aslam, spokesperson of foreign office while talking to the journalists here Wednesday.

Nankana Sahib-Amritsar bus service will now start on March, 24 instead of March, 10, she told adding that it was decided in principle to commence this bus service during the second round of composite dialogue process. This service is aimed to provide better travelling facilities to the pilgrims in both the countries, she added.
