AJK PM urges Muslim countries to play role in resolving Kashmir dispute

JEDDAH: The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan has urged Muslim countries to play their role effectively in resolving the Kashmir dispute.

He was addressing Kashmiris at VIP lounge here on his arrival in Saudi Arabia from Islamabad.

AJK Prime Minister who arrived here to participate in the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) summit said that he would brief the heads of the Islamic countries on the latest development on Kashmir issue and loss rendered by the October 8 earthquake. He expressed his gratitude on the arrangements made by the Saudi and Pakistani officials on his arrival.

Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan said that Saudi Arabia always help Pakistani and Kashmiri brethren generously in their difficult time. He said that solution of the Kashmir dispute is near, adding that unlimited access through Line of Control (LoC) can’t decrease the miseries of Kashmiris people.

Senior Minister Raja Muhammad Abdul Qayum Khan would be acting Prime Minister of AJK.

Earlier, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan while left from Islamabad see off by a large number of workers of Muslim Conference.
