Sikander urges Pakistan, India to allow free movement between Kashmiris

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sikander Hayat Khan has called upon India and Pakistan to allow free movement of Kashmiri people on both sides of LoC aimed at facilitating them for helping each other in this time of crises.

He stated this while talking to delegation of Belgium which called on him here in Muzaffarabad on Sunday.

The five-member delegation was led the country senior parliamentarian Ms. Dental Karin, dam Jamhol of Socialist party, Barnardad of green party, Andri Depos of Christian democratic party and persons related to media.

The delegation visited Muzaffarabad CMH suffered by the reconnect devastated earthquake saying that people and government of Belgium were stand by the AJK in the difficult hours.

The AJK Prime Minister made it clear that five points on LoC should have to be opened very early however recent steps taken by the government of India and Pakistan could bring mush relief to the calamity hit people as Bhidi away some 150km and Ori four km from Muzaffarabad.

"Exchange of one beg of flour would not bring any change in the lives of already dejected people but LoC should be opened that both sides of people should assist each other in true manner", he added.

About rehabilitation process in AJK, He pointed out government had intended to set up 8 more tent villages in which some 40000 quake affectees would be accommodated. "Government would provide gas cylinders, kerosene oil and stoves to the affected people of the earthquake", he added.

He told the delegation on present government has intense need of tents aimed at saving the affectees from the chilly clod in winter. He also laude Pak Army role in relief operations in the affected areas of the AJK.
