Batch of Italian engineers arrive to help rebuilding quake-hit areas

KARACHI: A batch of Italian engineers reached here on Sunday to help in rebuilding the earthquake struck region of Azad Kashmir.

Consul General of Italy Bruno Pasquino along with officers of Pakistan army received the Italian engineers, who have reached to form part of NATO’s relief efforts in the quake-hit areas in Azad Kashmir, said release issued by the ISPR.

The machinery and equipment required for the Italian efforts would reach Karachi port on Tuesday following which the engineers will take up reconstruction in the Bagh area of Azad Kashmir.
