50 thousand ton wheat to be imported from Russia

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Traders Monday signed an agreement to purchase 50 thousand ton wheat from Russia.

The wheat would be imported from Russia in September at the rate of 140 dollar per ton. This would be the third shipment of wheat import from Russia following the government permission of duty-free import of wheat to the country. The recent agreement was 17 dollar per ton low in price than the first and second one and 5 dollar per ton lower than the first agreement signed between the Pakistani traders and Russian officials.
