Brig (retd) Usman Tarar joins PML

LAHORE: Brig (Retd) Usman Tarar, of PML (N), a candidate for National Assembly from Hafizabad constituency and many of his colleagues have met PML (Q) leader and Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in official chambers, and announced his decision to join the ranks of PML (Q).

Brig (Retd) Usman Tarar has announced his complete confidence in the leadership of Chaudhry Shujat. Other notables of PML (Q), The Provincial Cultural Minister, Shaukat Aziz Bhatti and MNAs Mehdi Hussain Bhatti and Ghais Ahmad Seela were also present on the occasion.

The families of Brig (Retd) Usman Tarar and Mehdi Hussain Bhatti displayed the traditional conduct of ending feuds by publicly announcing their intentions for conciliation.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister of Punjab said that PML (Q) is fast emerging as a popular and powerful political force of the country. This occasion strengthens that belief. This strengthens the notion of victory for policies of President Pervez Musharraf, The Prime Minister Mr. Shaukat Aziz and PML (Q) President Chaudhry Shujat, who are fast becoming popular with people at grass roots level.

He pledged that PML (Q)'s agenda was based on development and amelioration of Pakistan and its masses in all the spheres of life. He reiterated PML (Q)'s resolve to end the long prevalent and derogatory tradition of family feuds and instill the spirit of brotherhood and tolerance in all levels of the Province.

Brig (Retd) Usman Tarar fully lauded the development efforts being undertaken by the chief minister in the uplift of the province, in economical, political and social aspects.

On this occasion, the chief minister also lauded the efforts of MNA Ghais Ahmad Mela, in reconciling the long-standing feud between two rival families. Also present at the occasion were, Muhammad Omar Tarar, Muhammad Mammoon Tarar, Nauman Tarar, Muhammad Haroon Tarar, and Muhammad Farooq Tarar.
