Pak hosting SAARC Law Conference for 3rd time KARACHI: This is the third time when Pakistan is hosting the SAARC Law Conference. Earlier, Pakistan had hosted the two said conferences in 1993 and 1997. There will be 11 sessions during the three-day moot on different topics. On the final day of the conference, there will be the valedictory session and the chief justices of Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Nepal Maldives and Sri Lanka will deliver their speeches. The President Pakistan chapter of Saarclaw, Justice rtd G.H Malik said that the legal fraternity in SAARC had shown overwhelming response to the conference and hoped that the conference would prove to be a success. This is a testimony to the favourable image of Pakistan amongst SAARC countries and a proof that we are active in Saarclaw”, he added. |
