Punjab Govt should seek apology from Sheikh Rasheed: Mushahid Hussain

RAWALPINDI: Secretary General PML-Q Mushahid Hussain Syed has said that Punjab Government should seek apology from AML President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed owing to failure regarding poor security to him.

Talking to media here late on Monday, he said that if peaceful elections can be held in Mansera and Swat, then it has been the failure of Punjab government to provide security in NA-55 constituency, which is even adjacent to the federal capital.

He also termed attack on Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed as failure of Punjab Government to provide security for the candidate of NA-55 constituency,

Secretary General PML further emphasized that by-elections in NA-55 should be held in the supervision of army as today incident has exposed commitment and control of Punjab Government.
