Handful elements creating law and order situation in pretext of NUML incident: Malik ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that he had settled the differences between the stakeholders of NUML issue however few elements wanted to create law and order situation by sending the hired outsides therefore he has directed to close the University for one week. Talking to media outside the Parliament House on Monday the Federal Minister said that he has the obvious evidences received by the agencies that there were few elements who sent few outsiders to create riots in the pretext of NUML’s issue. He condemned the NUML’s incident while he stated that he met with Professor Tahir Malik and Brig (Retd) Obaid Ahmed Ranjha and he made a patch up between them while Brig Obaid was ready to apologize publicly. In response to a question regarding Karachi blasts he said that security agencies and inquiry commission was working on it however before having any solid evidences he could not argue on it. He said that foreign hands could not be neglected because the bomb recovered from Jinah Hospital was not homemade, it was factory made bomb. He said that whoever would challenge the writ of the government would be handled with iron hands. The Federal Minister said that SAARC Interior Ministers conference would be held in Islamabad in the second week of March adding further that the Interior Ministers of India and Nepal would also participate in it. He said that India should stop blame gaming because if any incident happened in India it has always accused Pakistan. |
