I am part of Parliament, says Zardari

Islamabad : President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday again made it clear that he believes in supremacy of the parliament as he himself is a part of it.

President Asif Ali Zardari expressed these views while talking to veteran PPP leader and Advisor on Parliamentary Affairs Izhar Amrohi at the Presidency on Tuesday.

Sources say that during the course of the meeting, President said that PPP has given number of invaluable sacrifices for the country adding we will fulfill all promises made to the masses thick and thin.

Country is passing through gigantic challenges, he pointed.

He said that some elements are trying to sabotage democracy by hatching superfluous conspiracies but will be foiled, he stressed.

Sources say that veteran PPP leader and Advisor on Parliamentary Affairs Izhar Amrohi briefed President on the attendance of Federal Ministers and Parliamentarians in the Parliament.

He also discussed matters relating to legislation.

President thanked veteran PPP leader and Advisor on Parliamentary Affairs Izhar Amrohi for sending reports on daily basis to him in this regard.
